Why solid steel?

Most return grilles are thin stamped metal that dents, bends and rattles when the furnace or AC runs. The Caststo Rock is cut from a single 5 mm solid steel plate, so it stays flat, rigid and quiet for years. The powder-coated finish protects the steel and is easy to wipe clean.

How to choose the right size

Always order by the duct opening, not the old grille. Remove your existing grille and measure the hole in the wall, ceiling or floor from inside edge to inside edge. If the opening measures 12″ x 12″, this grille is the right fit – its 14″ x 14″ faceplate overlaps the opening by about 1″ on each side to cover rough drywall or flooring edges.

Installation

Remove the old grille and clean the opening. Hold the new grille in place, mark the holes, and fasten it with the matching screws provided. For floor openings, the grille simply sits in place. Most installations take less than 10 minutes.
